Chief Creative Officer, TBWA Melbourne
Paul Reardon is the Chief Creative Officer of TBWA Melbourne.
During his career, Paul has worked across pretty much every category there is. From beer to banking, automotive to armed services, and from the country’s best selling chocolate bar to the nation’s largest private health insurer.
As both a Writer and Creative Director, he has received awards in every major international advertising award show – a tally including two Grand Prix awards in Cannes.
Paul joined TBWA Melbourne roughly seven years ago. Since then, under his creative leadership, the agency has experienced a series of high-profile business wins and accumulated hundreds of national and international accolades.
Locally, the agency is now a regular on finalist lists for both Creative Effectiveness and Agency of the Year awards.
In 2014, Paul was one of the most awarded Executive Creative Directors in the world.
His work with ANZ has resulted in 17 Cannes Lions over the past four years, making the brand one of the most consistently awarded financial institutions ever, and in 2017, the most Effective Advertiser Australia.
In recent years, his communications for LGBTI rights, women’s financial inequality and men’s mental health issues have received global media coverage in over 100 countries. Closer to home, Paul helped launch the first fully electric vehicle into Australia; he rallied a local council to install a huge, dinosaur-shaped playground to get more Aussie kids outdoors; he helped spark a Senate Inquiry into Australian Superannuation; and he inspired Dulux to paint every Surf Life Saving Club in the country.
All this work stems from a firm personal belief; that we change behaviour and situations for the better, through courage and creativity.
